April 2007 Update:
Luke 5:4 "Launch out into the deep and
let down your nets for a catch."
Praise the LORD. We are here safely in
Shadrinsk, Russia. It was a wonderful flight across the ocean to Frankfurt,
Germany. What a beautiful day with temps close to 80. It was a fun but
exhausting day and we finally boarded at 8pm for the second flight to
Ekaterinburg. We arrived there at 4:50am, sunny but COLD.
The following day we were driven to
Shadrinsk and met our friend, Katya. Later that day, we began settling into
our apartment.
We've made a couple trips out to
Krasnaya Niva where the camp will be held. The only thing we can say about
it right now is... we should have brought boats!! The property is like a
lake. Please pray that the ground will soon begin to dry out.
We have been here in Shadrinsk for a
week now and feel quite at home.
